I sold my AMC, I think it's gonna go down and I want cash on hand to buy more when it does.

In other news, this thread finally got me off my ass to change my TDA 403b contribution. Now total contribution between personal and employer matching is 22%.
Damn. Thanks for the link I was on nerdwallet earlier I'm just looking for a place to drop 50-100 initial and once in a while pull 3 5 10 whatever it costs for a major house project.
Ally axios alliant come up a lot but I don't care what it is as long as it's better than a traditional savings and I can do a large transfer to my regular checking once in a while. I guess ideally I'd have a major/local bank for checking + savings, the hys, and then everything else in ira/Roth/401k/brokerages.
I'm getting 0.5% on my Ally account right now.
It's not great, but rates are low everywhere right now. Still beats just leaving it in a checking account getting like 0.01~0.03%.
Unless you're saving up for something specific (or if you're making bank lol) in a few years time window (downpayments, house projects, etc.), you probably shouldn't have more than 10~20k just sitting there.
What part of it being in stonks or crypto means it isn't readily available? I'm really confused about this. If you really need the money NOW you just market sell what you need and withdraw.
This might be one of those things that is easier with crypto than with stonks since there are apps (including things like cashapp and circlepay) where you can just convert whatever crypto you have into USD and conduct transactions without any wait time for transferring to a bank. The more rushed you are the more you're likely to pay in fees in both cases but still better than getting near 0 return, no?
I almost got a sava call for $1400 when sava was at $80 today...but it was too much for my blood. I'd be up over $2.5k if I had done it tho![]()

hmGME YOLO update — Feb 3 2021 – heads up gonna back off the daily updates for now
god that subreddit is full of fucking retards
It's so much easier to write a check or go to an ATM or do a bank to bank transfer and have the money as cash in my hand within 15 minutes no matter the amount. There's also the inherent risk of things going down at all. I'd rather they not move in a savings account or at a low apr because that's what my investments my retirement and my IRAs are for.
Also taxes.
Sath are you an eth validator? Also, are you golding GRT? Project looks interesting, I'd drop a few bucks man. Damn, my memelines show eth approaching the 3.618 fib extension. I almost sold my bag ngl but I'm going to ride it a bit more. AAVE is up a 22%, thank you based ghosts.
