I wonder if the birthing rates have some help in this.
It's too bad no one wants to work and the economy under Biden is garbage or this might be seen as positive.
Love a good American Chopper meme

Listened to a lady bitch about the cost of having 5 guys for 6 people.... and she ordered with doordash. I just.... couldn't...
Simple answer is Americans are addicted to buying shit they can't afford and don't need. That is what the USA economy has been based on for years and why credit card debt is so high. *not really a serious answer.
Simple flow chart in the most general terms that has no metrics.
Do you own property?
If yes: economy is good
If no: fuck everything and all this debt just to survive.
as a man of property.
i agree. numbers go up.
As the conservator of my dad's estate - Economy is good. House is up ~$900k from its 2009 appraised value.
As someone who doesn't own a home - Fuck the housing market. The split of my dad's estate (after mortgage/equity loans/lawyer fees paid off) will be my down payment for a house.
I will say watching Berniebros learn that their leftist savior they fucked the country over for is actually a huge Zionist douche the last 2 months has been fun.
A couple of years ago I decided to start putting away for a house, looked around at stuff in my area that I would want to live in and started planning on how to save up for a good down payment on a $500-550k house.
6 months later I checked again, the only houses available were places I would never want to live and they were running a minimum of $955k.

It's insane right now, buying makes zero sense (unless you are making a risky bet on mortgage rates plummeting in the next couple years so you can refi and think topline prices skyrocket even further as a result)
