A good VPN costs less than a single streaming service these days.
Currently have Netflix, Amazon Prime (use it a lot for shopping as well), and Ad-Free Hulu Plus + Family Spotify. Astylla was grandfathered in on a yearly sub for Disney + but I think going forward, it will be cheaper to bundle with Hulu and gain ESPN + for some live sports.
We have Disney + bundle with Hulu and ESPN, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Max, and Paramount +. We were testing out Paramount + and got it for one year but it won't auto renew. Their app sucks and is buggy as crap. Max we get as part of our cellular subscription with AT&T, Amazon Prime we have for shopping purposes, and Disney + and Netflix are the majority of what the kids watch. Not sure what we are spending total. I think it is $18/mo for the Disney bundle, $5/mo for Paramount + and another $18/mo for Netflix right now or there abouts. I don't really count Amazon Prime or Max as they are folded into other services. Total we are probably paying about $50/mo for entertainment which is cheaper than we used to pay for satellite or cable TV. The price keeps going up but it hasn't quite hit that magical high number yet.
Most of that 60% of streaming stuff is to support my need to watch every soccer match for my team. I'm just popping illegal streams for now and I'm trying to find a decent IPTV to use.
buy baconator at 3pm for 6 bucks, sell it outside the restaurant at 7pm for 9 bucks. repeat til millionaire
disregard thought this was spam i suck cocks etc
I love how brazen companies are with this. "PROFITS ARE AT A RECORD HIGH IF WE DON'T RAISE PRICES WE'LL NEVER STAY COMPETITIVE" and people just go with it
MeetCute will never raise its prices.
This. It has gone downhill since before the pandemic anyway. Their chili which I always liked comes out of a can now.
And if Netflix raises the price of their basic ad tier plan it's getting canceled too.
Edit: When it rains it pours. Just read this.
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/macys-c...res-locations/Macy's on Tuesday said it plans to close roughly 150 underperforming stores over the next three years, the struggling retailer's latest effort to energize its business as it seeks to fend off a proposed takeover by activist investors.
The department store chain said it plans to focus on expanding its luxury brands, Bloomingdale's and Bluemercury. Macy's will shutter 50 stores over the next year. Overall, the restructuring plan will leave Macy's with 350 outlets. In an email to CBS MoneyWatch, Macy's said it isn't disclosing the locations that will be closed.

The Wendys thing is so moronic.
Fast food places aren't taxis. Wendys too expensive? You just go over to the fast food place next door. Theres people who will never go back to the restaurant if they encounter a crazy price surge once. This is gonna backfire miserably.
