Completely off-topic, but where in Denver? My family is considering moving there next year. Looking to get out of Utah, and we're open to a lot of places, but Denver seems like a fairly easy lift and shift for us. We're checking out a large new development, Aurora Highlands, among other spots.
this is in the UK right?
i'm in a ~1970s-built neighborhood in southwest Denver, closer to Morrison than downtown
i have a different job now but previously worked in home construction for years here and have seen many of the new developments. Aurora Highlands, Sterling Ranch, Baseline, etc. all over from Monument to Fort Collins. gawd, i don't miss all that driving
Utah to Colorado will be an easy shift, you're right
That's what I would think, but from listening to a couple podcasts about how the UK right now is just imploding as they sell shit to private companies to run (lol London water treatment is going very well) and politicians make shady deals but with kindergarten levels of intellect I don't know where the UK is at the point where landlords can pull this bullshit.
Update to previous vid. They are allowed to push this on people, and require 2 months to vacate...but it takes 3 months to strike it down in court. It doesn't go on hold at all, it keeps processing and landlord is allowed to send a bailiff to your place for eviction while the shit is still ongoing in courts....fucking wow
The mistake he made was in thinking it's, "his house". It's their house he's just renting it. I'm not even joking. The system is rigged? HOLY SHIT!! ^^; It has been for a long time. The rich can do whatever they want to the common man.

Obligatory death to all landlords. (Sorry archi)
See but that's the problem with property rental rather than property ownership.
What can you do but lol

People are bad at numbers and statistics
i'm not doing well but the nation is doing alright
i was not polled, hmph
"the news tells me everyone else is fucked but i'm doing ok" is pretty common across all political groups. my in-laws say it all the time
Well I mean yeah? I'm doing ok for my income and way of living but I also drive through San Diego and other parts of SoCal and see just how fucked so many people are here. Economy =/= people but shit man, so many people are getting tossed on the streets and rent is skyrocketing. The "economy" might be doing well but regular people are getting fucked.
Yeah, I think "doing ok" in this day and age is "I'm not fucked compared to others" but was that the actual statement used or something else and that's a paraphrase from the tweet? Can't view tweet beyond this forum and fuck that site so not going to sign up to view anything
