hes a landlord
hes a landlord
I dont get how people here hate me more than Archi based on that one simple fact.
Archi was out there slanging avocados for two weekends last month and I felt I should respect that.
In a typical housing market low wage workers rent low-rent apartments, high wage workers who rent spend much more than the median rent. Comparing the median rent with the lowest possible wage is weird, minimum wage workers don't have to work 104 hours to afford rent because they aren't renting the median apartment usually, they're renting a cheaper one.
When I was earning sub-30k in Los Angeles for years I wasn't renting the median rent apartment, I was renting cheap ones!
cant have the poors renting an average place lol
Ok Landlord.
guy constantly complaining about housing crisis owns 2 houses cant explain that
?
?And having a roommate does not make a low-rent apartment.
a major part of the way I managed staying housed while earning jack shit was having roommates, I only lived by myself once in my life and it was in a studio apartment in koreatown (also a good way to stay housed)
That studio in koreatown rents for more than any of my tenants pay now lol
Ain't no middle class family renting out home valued at 1.1 million.
Oh if only there was a reason a low wage earner might want a median income home and not be able to get it...
I rented out a room to a friend who I also got a job at my last place and lemme tell you one of the worst decisions of my life.
I'm glad they got some stability but god damn roommates blow.
I feel like we should reiterate one of the initial purposes of the minimum wage.
And then point out people shouldn't have to have roommates to survive.
Fix the first problem, then let people partake of the second at their own discretion if they want to save some money.
