I feel like they could done more with it but I also realize they probably didn't want to push too hard on the rework. Having Titan/Garuda/Ifrit change to Shiva/Ramuh/Levi in between phases would have been cool or even implement something similar to Blue Mage where we can choose which 3 summons to use before a raid/dungeon. I'm having fun with it so far though I kinda hoped they wouldn't forsake the dot mage completely and at least bring it back in another caster in the future.

Would have been great if Bahamut lead to summoning Ifrit/Garuda/Titan and then Phoenix to Shiva/Ramuh/Leviathan or something like that, I totally agree. Even if the abilities/potencies are the same, just the visual change would be rad.

I don't understand all the fury over the login situation. I just remote access my computer from my phone to log in ahead of time and monitor for 2002s. Pretty sure you can remote access a Playstation too right? Or just log in away from peak hours and avoid the monster queues? I understand that everyone has their circumstances but I feel like those two solutions cover most people.

I really don't mind the queue myself. It's the 2002 errors that can pop up that are annoying since you need to keep an eye on the game client to be sure you weren't booted off. It would help if they used a different sound effect for when that error happens instead of the same one when the queue message refreshes.

I have noticed the que is much more stable since their latest fix but the consequence of that is longer que times as less people are getting booted, a true catch 22

Lot of gigabrainers on the forum but not gigabrain enough to use an RDP from your smartphone to your pc and use quicklauncher that has your creds + 2FA key stored to log in while you're stuck in traffic, day dreaming if your wife has cucked you with the neighbor again.

Yeah, thankfully this is me, was able to basically avoid any queues since early access, unless I get dc'd during the day

For me I think I got 2002'd 2 or 3 times last night and was in the queue for about an hour give or take.

It is getting better but yeah 2002 can make anyone paranoid

Friend and I had a 5k queue last night that took about 2 1/2 hrs to get through and neither one of us had a 2002 error. But the threat is still there so it never stops feeling like I'm guarding the 38th parallel.
