Can't blame you. The expert roulette can kinda burn you out and Trials is a coin toss between a quick win or living hell.
Training hunts has always been the best way to cap tomes, never has it ever not been. If you don't have a hunt linkshell Sonar is a great alternative.
the only issue is the congestion lol after every 2 hunts you gotta wait like 5 minutes for everyone to get to the next instance

I suppose that's true. Though it would be interesting to see a tier list of sorts just for the sake of curiosity. I'm not a huge meta nut but IIRC they were in 3rd place for EW for highest DPS potential only behind SAM and DRG and well... fuck SAM and all the micro managing.

Yeah, and I’m thinking Sage might get some changes too. Having done some current end-game content with it, I feel like it has too much healing and too little damage. Maybe I’m just not used to Sage yet or don’t use the correct Materia, but despite me spamming my damaging skills and having near 100% uptime on DoT, other healers consistently outdamage me even with worse gear. Healing is always at the top though with little overhealing even though the only heals that ever need to be thrown out are the OGD ones (except the damage+heal one) and the occasional shield AoE heal.
One change that could help is if they change it so that breaking AoE shield also gives Addersgall stacks for the DPS abilities as you essentially never get those outside of dungeons, or make it so that you also get Addersgall from the ability that restores the normal energy (the name escapes me atm).
