I actually like it. Not every milestone related mount needs to be 19 stories tall or bright enough to light up the entire universe

As someone who never really enjoyed playing healer until Sage, I love this meme. Sage/Astro raids and trials are so broken right now.

The statistics would say otherwise, as Sage is the least played Raid Healer in clears.

SCH is definitely better with proper execution, SGE is much more user friendly

I think that is mostly because the newness of the job, don’t have as many people engrossed in playing it at a high level just yet. After more people start clearing this savage tier, and truthfully, the NEXT savage tier, we’ll have a more clear picture.

Yeah I checked again today and its begun to catchup. I feel the job may end up the BLM of the healers though, where fight knowledge is important to optimize shielding, which isn't as necessary with SCH.

idk, think you have it backwards tbh

sage is much much simpler to execute, and is probably generally considered more fun. Ergo it's being employed by the lower end of the playerbase

scholar requires more decision making(energy drain vs. heals), group coordination(sacred soil placement, chain strat. timing), and personal coordination(fairy placement), but is likely higher rDPS when done properly. Ergo it's more popular amongst the world firsters

as normies start clearing more regularly I'm sure we'll see more sages in the mix

I never noticed before but the entrance to the Smileton dungeon is the stone face from FF4.

    Spoiler: show

Is this true? Never heard this.

Thought it was the face on Mars.

I’m at my wit’s end with this triple triad achievement, stuck at 106/107 defeating unique opponents. I have every card you can possibly get from card battles (only missing a few EX trial exclusives), I’ve gone over the list of opponents a dozen times, did every sidequest, visited literally every zone in the game TWICE, I cannot find this last opponent for the life of me.

Is it just me or is the 89 EX trial insanely easy compared to the 83 EX?

Also is talking about parsers a ToS violation in game? Had a moody DPS I'd have loved to put in their place tonight that was getting out DPSed by both tanks but bit my tongue just in case.

For me it was a lot easier. The 83 mechanics are a lost harder to grasp on the fly for me. But if you have one person in the party that can do them without issues then everyone can just follow them, so there's that.

And yeah, it's better not to talk about parsers in game to criticize somebody, as that can be used to report you.

Yeah. 83 is just annoying since there's a lot of little things you need to manage and the one hit from meteors is never fun especially when you still get hit even though your corps is completely in a safe zone. Actually on that note how much of a step up in difficulty are the Pandemonium savages compared to the EX trials?

And that sucks about the parser.

Parser talk in game is a big no no and a good way to get banned, don’t do it

The 89 trial is definitely easier than the 83, because you can have people at 90 in there with their full tool kit and and higher level cap gear. Also I think the 83 trial catches people off guard with the new mechanics like the rotating platform and the falling stars, and the healer check is quite the wake up call if healers have just been coasting along.
