Ever since coming back to play in August, I haven't installed or used a parser and it honestly feels much better to play when I don't know the details anymore lol.

Nah, the buff that raises you has a limited amount of stacks

Yeah I think you get around 7 reraises. I'll admit that whole reflex thing threw me off a bit since I wasn't expecting it to be off center/I was running on 4 hours of sleep but wow tgey must have tried to facetank that

Holy hell they got carried all the way to 90 didn't they?

I very rarely will watch a streamer but sometimes aside from gameplay, their understanding of the story will just trigger me. Jocat was the most recent I watched last week and he damn near gave me an aneurysm with how so far off he was with his understanding of the story after the fifth zone that I wonder if he was trolling and doing it for the engagement.

He somehow left Elpis believing the WoL is a shard of Venat and that Hydaelyn is sundered herself. Like the game goes out of it's way to blatantly explain who the WoL, in that same zone even and he was still wrong. His mods moved to ban the Yea and Nay emotes cause people were facepalming and trying to correct him but he thought chat was trying to spoil him.

With how far off Lore Lines were with most of their theories going into Endwalker, gonna be an eh from me. Hydaelyn aside, main malding point from that Jocat stream was his belief that we were Venat and not you know, Azem. Dude went theorycrafting hard afterwards with that misunderstanding as the base.

I only had one theory going in and it proved to be right fortunately. I didn't try to speculate too hard either so I would go into EW mostly as a blank book for the game to fill.

After Shadowbringers established that Zodiark wasn't the big bad, but just a stop gap, I figured we were gonna deal with him in some way around the middle of the expansion while they fleshed out what started off the Final Days aka the real big bad.

She pretty much has. I've been watching her for the past 3 years or so and been there for a lot of her FF14 journey. She's somewhat entertaining to watch when she isn't trying to hype things up for the camera. She's really bad in the game overall. How you don't understand how to mix in oGCD between GCD or think that something like Lv. 80 DRG rotation is so complex because it has 3 positionals, of which you only have to move once per rotation to hit, is beyond me.

At least she casts Ruin as SCH, so there's that.

She also died during the final trial by running off the edge of the platform…during the second phase. You know, the victory phase, the one where you almost have to try if you want to lose at that point. Yeah.

She’s pretty dang good at Kingdom Hearts though. Beat Sephiroth using a DDR pad. That’s pretty unique.

I think she's just as bad at KH tbh, possibly more so. On KH2/3, she never learns from her losses. She just mashes buttons, doesn't guard, and waits for enough RNG to align for a win. While playing Lv. 1 and expecting a different outcome from doing the same thing every time.

Yeah I've noticed quite a few bads coming up in parties. Had an AST capped at 88 in the 87 dungeon with level 80 gesr that sucked so much at healing I couldn't do big pulls and their excuse was "they normally have WAR tanks"

I wouldn't say having lvl 80 gear is "bad" in a lvl 87 dungeon to be honest, as long as it's the 530 gear. I'd bet ost people (including me) generally don't upgrade gear between, say, 60 -> 70 or 80 -> 90 unless something drops in a dungeon. When I leveled secondary jobs, I did just fine in lvl 80 gear in the 87 dungeon, both as healer, tank and DPS. It was just a shitty healer. I had a Sage in the lvl 90 MSQ dungeon with lvl 89 gear that I couldn't do large pulls on either when I played Gunbreaker. He ran out of mana so, so fast. He only used Eukrasian Prognosis and Eukrasian Diagnosis as heals, never used Lucid Dreaming or any of the Addersgall spells to recover MP (or add mitigation), or any of the other off-global spells.

Speaking of bads, had another great experience yesterday. Was doing raids, and two raids in a row I had the same co-healer. A WHM. Didn't use any offensive spells at all, sat "afk" waiting to heal things. Even when said WHM could have healed, he chose not to do so. The only thing he essentially did was throw out Medica II as soon as the regen falls off and then stood AFK. Didn't even resurrect people if they died. He died to mechanics eventually as he didn't move a lot, just left him dead. Not wasting mana on that shit. Ended up mostly solo-healing both fights. And honestly, that was fine. Still had better DPS than the tanks despite having to solo heal.
