I guess that explains some of their hand-waving of acknowledging wartime atrocities. "We said sorry and repented, so lets not speak of it ever again. Its like it never happened because it won't happen again."
That aside, I dug the storyline. XIV does a fantastic job of making you absolutely despise some of its villains, and I appreciate that.
Did the NieR raid and was thoroughly confused but it was alright. As usual, the third boss is more difficult than the final boss. Actually, I think the final boss was the easiest of the four this time around with clearly understandable mechanics and telegraphs, unlike boss #3 which was like welp good luck first timer.
I died a lot to that one if you couldn't tell.
Also obligatory "I need my Hildibrand fix" complaint.
MSQ was great as usual, the Weapon saga did an excellent job of putting some weight behind the tragedies of very new faces, but I'm incredibly disappointed that they failed to really incorporate Nier into the world. It was entertaining on its own, and it piqued my interest enough to learn entirely too much about the Nier/DG universe(to which I don't regret at all), but it still left me feeling like I was playing another game inside of this one
Nier and Eden are definitely big 'ol stains on an otherwise masterpiece of an expansion
What exactly is the big complaint about the Eden raids? I enjoyed them other than the...
Spoiler: show
I enjoyed all the Eden raids except the last one. Suffers from terrible pacing at the phase change.
The final Eden fight just didn't draw me in compared to how intense the previous ones were. Bahamut Prime, Alex Prime, Omega M/F were all great (normy filty casual level of course) and Eden's Promise was just kinda meh. The summons mechanic is fun, but the platform jumping, preserve the memories bit is just meh
oh the fights are fine, I just thought the story was hot garbage
When is the next storyline update?
End of May
The date will be announced at fan fest but it’s projected for the end of May.
Isn't fanfest mid May?
14-15 so yeah, they'll probably announce the patch for 25th then
Caught up with the story in early April. It’s starting to feel like a monthly manga now where I need more story! Lol
show me where vegeta apologized lol
But it wasn't Vegeta's fault. Freeza was a big meanie that made the Sayians do all that bad stuff. You're blaming the victim.
Okay joking aside I did a bit of a lookup on Diamond Weapon EX and is it me or does this fight seem quite easy as long as you don't fuck up platform jumping?
