Kirin's correct. You can get it in one playthrough.
I got all the stuff right and did the very first part, then thought "eh, I might actually get more of out of this if I do it a second time", plus:

I'm considering NG+ the second playthrough since yeah while you keep your units/levels the enemies are beefed up too so it's not going to a cakewalk to get back to where you were. Though I guess it might go faster since the final chapter's suggested level is 50 and you'll be around 30 by the time you start NG+
As for the route this is what I was told:

Coming to Meta Quest 2 & 3 - October 31, 2024
https://www.square-enix-games.com/en...angle-strategySQUARE ENIX® today announced that the turn-based tactical RPG, TRIANGLE STRATEGY™, which originally released for console and PC in 2022, is coming to Meta Quest on Oct. 31, 2024. Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3 players can pre-order the title and enjoy a limited-time 13% discount starting today.
TRIANGLE STRATEGY on Meta Quest offers a complex, tactical battle system enhanced by intuitive VR controls that make for an immersive hands-on RPG experience. Utilize 360-degree 3D movement on the battlefield and place characters yourself to fine-tune combat strategy – with the characters’ fates literally in your hands, players can experience the dramatic story of clashing kingdoms like never before. I cant grasp why VR would enhance this game lol
Another platform for S-E to release on an experiment I guess, since iirc, all of their VR efforts were exclusively for PSVR1 prior to this? I can see the appeal of having a little diorama of SRPG gameplay in front of you in your current room, given it supports passthrough, and the genre is heavily lacking on the VR platform in general, although I feel like my neck would start to hurt looking down after awhile. All of Meta's headsets are front-heavy without a 3rd-party strap to balance the weight distribution better. This might also pave the way for them porting more of their 'HD2D' games as well.
Base price of this release is also way cheaper than it is on Steam.
