I finally traded the Death's Web yesterday - accepted Sur + 5 Gul runes. Used 2 Gul and a Vex to cube an Ohm and make my first ever CtA (rolled 2 BO, wompwomp) and used another Gul to get a shako again.

I'm a Sur or a Ber from an Enigma but it probably won't happen until Ladder S1 chars roll into this nonladder stash. Either way it feels good to be this close to one. It'll happen even if it's in four months.

Arachnid Lair is pretty sweet. I will for sure farm there on my first sorc.

Bruh I wait 6+ months to play this shit for ladder and the servers are still shitting themselves lol. Getting in a game like 1/5 tries, this is stupid.

that's weird and unlucky it seems; i haven't had any issues, and it's been nice playing in games with tons of town portals up

using ID scrolls (confirming item IDs with server) has been occasionally slow. the game creation timers and limits set seem to be working pretty well given all the constraints of legacy architecture

doing a lazy ladder play through and with these new skill changes i have no idea why anybody would play any other class other than holy fire paladin till nightmare act4 than swap to fist of the heavens to beat hell.

you don't even have to try with this shit it's so easy lol

I decided to dick around with a kick assassin for ladder as I've never played that class before. Only early nightmare doing super casual, using an act 3 merc, and stuff right now melts.

holy fire paladin literally just walks forward and everything just dies. it stopped at nm act 4 'cause of immunities but it was comical and easy to continuously farm cows for a 4 socket crystal sword / 4 socket polearm / 4 socket paladin shield. took no effort at all, you literally just walk and collect loot

I did a Sorc for the first time ever (shocking I know) and am playing through uber casually; sitting in A4 normal right now. Kind of wish I had done Holy Fire > FoH Paladin like Rhyis, but I wanted to have teleport for once since I've never gotten to the Enigma stage of play. Having fun, but the borked lobby games really needs to be fixed.

I borked my respec on sorc and decided to swap to Paladin. Holy Fire is indeed absurd; I just walked through A1-A4N in no time. It's great for random rune drops/etc. on mobs that you would normally just be skipping past, but the AOE fire kills them.

Yeah, I started one today to dick around with during downtime with work. Already on Act 3. Anduriel melted and duriel pretty much exploded.

Was absolutely hilarious walking into rooms in act 2 filled with skeletons and those undead resurrection mobs and just having the entire room pop.

Really wish I would have known how badly they fucked up WW in 2.4 before I chose my ladder starter lol. And I don't mean that it sucks, because it always has, but just that it's freaking broken. Any time you are hit during the animation you completely stop moving on your screen, and then desync to the location that the whirlwind "would have ended had you not been hit". Quick vid showing it:



I click to WW to the top left, get hit so I stop. Run the fuck away.... then get warped to the top left where the WW would have ended. It's every freaking time and a nightmare to play with. Shame because Plague/Chaos WW-Kicksin is pretty fun otherwise. Made it to page 3 of the ladder rankings but I don't see going much further.

Anyone with a softcore hell level ladder character that can help me corpse run in Act 2? Got turned into mulch by a lightning immune unique that was ultra fast and his minions went full blender on me in claw viper temple. Game/Pass is Game2158345899
