Of course if you have it pre-ordered you also have access to the beta.
i don't know much about twitch, and i don't know what drop means besides Ridills and abjurations but i'm gonna leave on some streams and see if i can figure it out
i just linked my battle.net to twitch acct
Additionally, if the stream ends before the 2 1/2 hours, just go to a different stream and it will count the progress
Anyone doing the open beta?
Almost through act 1 and I swear to God I'm about to murder a dev with how often my Merc decides to blip out of existence

I played a lil bit. Don't want to get too into beta, but also right now I'm not sure I want to buy it on release. All kinds of bugs still there, we'll see how open beta will be updated, if at all, before release
kindly tell me more about your beta impressions please and thank you
Love the nostalgia, but damn, does it feel slow/sluggish…
is it more rubberbanding or more choppy/low frame rate?
i hear some say clicking melee attacks feels off and kinda bad
I had a crash but other than that it feels great. I think "slow/sluggish" might be commentary aimed at Diablo 2 itself and not necessarily the remaster.
It felt, in ways good and bad, like a faithful recreation of a 20 year old game.
I've experienced some rubber banding but I chalk that more up to server lag then anything else.
Fory system though, it's a ram hog. I oy have 8gb and it was using over half that after a few hours of play. I also have to play with everything on low, so while it's not old school d2 ugly, I'm sure it will look a lot better when I replace my system.

Yeah, its moreso the slower combat of an older game vs. newer stuff. Maybe it's unfair to compare to D3 or POE...
7 year old I5 and I was wrong, my card is an ATI 280, not 290

The game does seem to have optimization problems, I had to lower some settings myself because I felt it didn't run smooth enough for a game that looks like that
how many more noobs are going to try to make a runeword in a magical item, goodness gracious
Also if you are playing through the Beta, don't bother with Duriel unless you are doing a full party game. They said they will fix it when the game goes live, but your character is targetable while in a loading screen, so there's a good chance you are just going to load dead.
Realized I just butchered the name
who in hell is that
