The frame rate in docked mode is distractingly bad. Can also see the gameplay loop getting extremely repetitive if this game is really supposed to be 50-60hours long.

Having a decent time so far. Only spent like 2 hours, but so far there’s a little too much hand holding at the moment.
Think I’m still stuck in the “tutorial” before I’m set free, but going directly from Dark Souls to this is extremely drastic lol
So I hate hooking up my switch, but after a bit of googling you can emulate switch / Arceus on PC...
Doesn't look too bad and only occasionally when new spells load the first time do I notice a bit of lagging, but I've only been playing for around 1.5 hours.
I have to say I like the fact that you can craft balls / potions in the field rather than having to stock up at the shops ahead of time.
Hate the wisps quest... Even going with a map/video I 'm currently missing 1 in two zones and I'm yet to go through the last zone.
Still haven't decided to pick this up, how are folks feeling about it after about a week?
Repetitive but if all you care about is collecting (shiny) pokemon then youll like it. If you want competitive play or any sort of in depth pokemon battling whatsoever then this will not scratch the itch whatsoever, it is 100% a collectathon and the battling component could not even be in the game and it would still play almost the same.
I'm not very far but this game will keep you busy (especially the beginning tutorial lol). Hesitant to say it's worth $60 bucks but I'll hold that opinion until I finish the game.
I have no regrets buying it. It's a fun creature collection game. Much more focused on that than battling like others have said. It's not GOTY or anything, but I'm enjoying it.
I'm done with my dex. Overall, I'd say it's a fun, but mediocre game. They could have went a lot further with a lot of stuff, but it does move things in an interesting direction.
I'll say though, I just finished BD right before this came out and was grinding National Dex and the idea of going back to that now and hunting pokemons with the old system is quite off putting haha.
How much gametime did it take you to finish? And by done I'm assuming you mean research level 10 on everything?
Ahh, no way, that's too grindy for me, I don't care about shinies to do it for the charm. Just meant getting all the 240 pokemons.
Anyway, my time was 44 hours.
not worth driving to gamestop for that
Not even shiny. Is it hard to get in the game or something?
