So my apartment complex offered a service that you pay a small monthly fee and it gives you the option to split your rent into smaller payments throughout the month instead of one lump sum on the 1st. I’ve never used it. But when I went to renew my lease they now require it. So I said okay whatever. What I didn’t know was that it’s technically a credit extension, basically this company is fronting your rent on the first and your payments are going to them if you use the service. So I see it show up on my credit report now, and it’s retroactive to when I first moved in over four years ago. So I check my credit report on credit karma and it’s now showing me four years of on time payments and my credit score has jumped up like 35 points LOL

got an incredibly nasty series of texts/emails from a township resident today (at like 8pm btw, long after the work day was done) for my full time job and it took every fiber of my being to restrain myself from going full mertron internet troll on them in response, hoo boy i was ready
