The Canadian Royal Wedding (or really anything involving Canadians with their beady eyes and flapping heads) is so good.
i don’t remember the episode but the city wok mongolians was also good
More recent but when they tried to (jokingly) gaslight everyone with the switch from Token to Tolkien was spectacular.
I have probably only seen about 20% of all the South Park there is to see but I don't see how anything tops the first Halloween episode with "It's a copy of Crack Whore Magazine... and Cartman's mom IS on the cover!"

I feel like one day when I don’t have life and vidya back log to go through I will go catch up on the modern South Park episodes I’ve missed the last few years. The last season I watched in full was right after PC Principal came on board. Kinda want to catch up so I can play Fractured But Whole and understand all the jokes. Stick of Truth was a real banger.
i haven't really watched southpark since 1999, then whatever season pc principle was around and the toto toilet episode.
performative virtue signaling nonsense tbh. girl showed up to a photoshoot, put on a pair of jeans and posed. interview the person that wrote the ad campaign involving the "good genes" lines. this is like emma watson speaking out against jk rowling, what does it do? jk rowling is still releasing harry potter stuff including a whole new series unimpeded regardless of anything she says.
this is like if everyone fixated on the niggas in the heil hitler video chanting instead of kanye for creating it
Don't disagree about Sweeney in regards to the ad but it was important for Hermione's actress to distance herself from Rowling's transphobia for the sake of her own career and public image.

i don't even think this was important. the last harry potter movie came out 14 years ago. to think that her denouncement or not has had any impact on her career opportunities is laughable. ralph fiennes has defended JK rowling and he just did 28 years later and is completely unimpacted by his comments in favor of JK rowling. cuz hes a good fucking actor that people like in their projects.
i daresay her comments were definitively unimportant in regards to her livelihood
Is incongruous with
Alsoand is completely unimpacted
I know people who've worked with Fiennes and they all actually think he's a real dick and a hassle to work with.cuz hes a good fucking actor that people like in their projects.
Also Fiennes hasn't made a public image out of social issues like Watson has so perhaps you can identify the difference.

Now the Menu, the Menu is an amazing movie.

aww, i don't like this information
also the incongruous part is not... incongruous. i was saying her comments regardless of what they were would not have changed her career, which i believe. and used fiennes as an example of someone whos career was likely not changed for doing the opposite of her
Just look at the man's full name, there's no way he's not an asshole with a name like that
Ralph Nathaniel Twisleton-Wykeham-Fiennes
Actually I think I'm approaching this the wrong way; I agree that Watson speaking out against Rowling didn't impact her career. But saying nothing or avoiding the topic would have. Given her public image and heavy association with Rowling's work, denouncing her kept things even.
