Also we don't know if it's a torn biceps for sure. It could be or it could be something else, which is why he needs imaging. Also, we don't know if he was given/refused a referral to a speciality more suited towards his pain and symptoms. Which is why it was asked if he saw a sport's medicine physician or ortho surg yet.

This is all nuance that his doctor should have explored, yes. Maybe they tried! Or maybe they didn't based on the tone of the post
