Without giving away too much, my company’s annual internal census/recap thingy went out this week. My former regional boss is now in charge of this much larger market and had the best performing location. I sent him a text to congratulate him and was feeling a little froggy so I shot my shot asking if I could do some work for them (remotely, but moving there eventually is the goal) and he was like shit yeah we desperately need help this month while people are out for the holidays, let’s get it set up ASAP. So I’m starting with them this weekend. Same job, just doing it in MUCH bigger market and the highest performing one in the state. Hopefully will turn into something long term. Let’s fucking gooooo

I’ll get extra pay for the extra work, yes. If I end up moving there, they would pay me a couple grand for relocation and it would come with a cost of living pay increase because I’d be moving from a rural area to one of the biggest cities in the state. But they won’t pay that if I remain remote.
