I tried watching a video incognito the other day because I didn't want it poisoning my recommendations, it was such a miserable experience that I just stopped watching the video. I don't regret paying for YouTube to have that ad free experience.

Pihole can't block YouTube ads because they are served most often from the YouTube domain. Too late to get your money back on the pihole? Because you can just buy a cheap 1L PC and do more with it.
