AI sucks but idk how you can objectively say the best current AI looks "bad". It's imperfect, but looks decent to better than what most humans IN THAT INDUSTRY are making and is advancing quickly. They have no one to blame but themselves for releasing shit like The Flash because it already looks better than that. Even Luke Skywalker didn't look horrible, but AI can probably do it better now or within a year or two.
Idk why I'm stuck on those two examples lol

It looks bad because it objectively looks soulless, like something is trying to imitate a human but doesn't know anything about being human. You're out here trying to argue that Ditto makes a better copy than the originals.
It might create better animated stuff if people would stop with their fixation of trying to outclass things shot with a real live person.
Uncanny valley effect. That's why it looks bad. EVERYONE says and knows that the Flash CGI was fucking awful. That's the fault of executives and capitalism. These LLM, AI and ML programs are all cheap and free to use because they need to data and training but once it reaches the point of profitability that you two are mental jacking off to, do you really think these programs won't be thrown behind ridiculous subscription fees? Like Uber and Lyft did. Destroy a previously existing market, make a population dependent on your service and then make the price skyrocket. What are the people going to do? Go without transportation?
All the frontier models already have subscription fees. I'm not making an argument that it's good because it's free.

Arguing for AI because you like it even though you know how awful it is for the environment is like eating a dozen doughnuts everyday. Yeah it tastes great and I’m sure you love it but that shit will kill you sooner rather than later.
"anyone who relentlessly pushes the use of new technology and downplays the negatives is a paid shill"
FTFY
Literally any of Archi's posts lol
I see the AI brain rot is already starting to take effect. "Cheap and free to use" acknowledges that there are subscription fees attached to them. Ridiculous subscription fees acknowledges that at anytime, the prices can skyrocket once they feel like it, quite frankly. Also, the likelyhood of these companies placing clauses inside the user agreements such as owning the rights to anything produced from their AI is high and throwing the users to the wolves once those lawsuits come to their front doors. No company is going to take the legal risks or liability of letting every Tom, Dick and Harry create videos like that Brad Pitt/Tom Cruise one. That's well beyond parody law and protection.
why didn’t any of you tell me they released a new Diablo 2 class after 25 years
probably because it just got announced and released yesterday and none of you knew either but still
