I played the version on PSX years back but I never made it very far, the translation was pretty bad and the job points system was terrible.

I have it at the x4 boost and it's still like, edge of tolerable.

Ok Garula grinding isn't bad, just set it to auto defend until they run away and you get 4 ABP with the boost on every time.
