I just got to the merged world in FFV and I'll say that it would still be unplayable to me in other versions but with the 4x job point boost the Pixel Remaster actually makes it fun. This is a really good game unfortunately ruined before this point by developers who wanted to punish players with grinding.

Haven't tried in decades, but the grinding is why I never finished V. I really enjoyed it on the PS1 release too

apparently Breaking Bad fans have been going around for years review bombing other series's's best episodes that got too close to Ozymandias's perfect 10/10, the highest ever rated episode on IMDB. recently they tried that with the A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms finale and the Game of Thrones autism base fully activated and has reverse-bombed Ozymandias out of the top-100 episodes

I have been enjoying a bit of that drama. Ozymandias was 9.5 last I saw. I don't think it was just GoT base either. BB fans have done it to other franchises before and it feels like they all ganged up on it this time
