The one in Long Beach is easily the best one, the building is half Roscoe's and half a live jazz bar. The vibes are immaculate even if you're not big on jazz.

If you don't want to drive, take the A/Blue line all the way up to Downtown and get off at Little Tokyo/Arts district stop if you're feeling Japanese food. Keep going past to Union Station and you can walk to Chinatown. Got Howlin Rays if you are a fan of spicy chicken. A bit sketch out there tho.

Koreatown also accessible if you transfer at Metro Center to D/Purple and get off at Wilshire/Western or Wilshire/Vermont. Park's BBQ is probably one of the best kbbq places. Ton of Korean eateries obviously.

Daikokuya in Little Tokyo for ramen is my personal fave, but I have friends who prefer Shinsengumi.

My personal pick for KBBQ in Koreatown is Honey Pig. It's a cauldron/shield style grill and they roast kimchi and beansprouts on the edge of the shield to cook with the run-off meat juices. Oh thank God it's mostly a brand/formulation thing and not all of them. Also 2mg/2.4mg of ozempic was ROUGH the week I tried it. I dropped in dosage immediately cause it made me feel horrible. Once I switched to retatrutide any side effects were gone and now I'm a healthy weight living my best life. About to go down to a management dose even since if I lose any more weight I'll look like a caricature lol
