On the final season of house, and the last 2-3 seasons have been absolute dogshit.
The last good episode of House is the season finale (or opener, I can't remember which) with the crane collapse. It's not a steep slope, but it's still a decline and it starts after that and never reverses.

Pretty sure that was the finale,.Spoiler: show
Everything past that is just old him dialed up to eleven again, so you get to spend the rest of the series once more watching someone self-sabotage all relationships he has again and again, which, honestly, is not fun. The cases themselves remaining entertaining, but from Vogler to Tritter or some of the other larger plots, the series has a real problem with the overarching plots sucking the fun out the cases themselves, which at least remain fun/dramatic/interesting, also thanks to the team dynamics.
Yeah the season that followed still had some good episodes but nothing ever hit that crane peak again. The break up episode in particular was fun until it wasn't, and I don't know if the show ever got fun again.

I'm so tired, until my dog's follow-up clears her she's not allowed to run or jump or use stairs so I'm just anxious about her every move.

Today is the 6 year anniversary of COVID-19 being classified as a global pandemic
I know the world turned upside down and thousands of people died and for most it was generally Not A Good Time, but I'm still somewhat strangely nostalgic for those first couple months of lockdowns. I "worked" from home, took my dog on like a dozen walks per day, binged through Persona 5 Royal and FFVII Remake, didn't have to talk to anyone face to face except the grocery store checkout clerk for like 3 months. It was grand.
I wish we kept the masks around

I also miss work from home, I started working for the DC government after return to office was ordered, but then the mayor also reduced the number of remote days from 2 to 1 because I guess restaurant revenue was suffering. I just wanna hang out with my dog.

Pandemic times were shit. No WFH. 5% of my hours were cut for 4-5 something months. Didn't have time for much vidya. Then lost friends who thought it was fine to stay silent about the one right-wing guy in the group chat who attempted to justify the Ahmaud Arbery murder.
I don't want to go back to those times.
