my sole complaint so far (i just unlocked the upper path last night but can’t advance yet) is that chronos is disproportionately hard compared to the first three bosses

also the game kinda soft locking you from progress by making eris show up on your early runs was a dick move

Eris won't show up if you're below half hp, I think. Might be 66%? I only know from watching a fresh file speed run. They take intentional damage to get eris to stay away. (Yes it's stupid design. Eris is a pita)

If you're on a fresh file, if you clear each boss with more than 50% HP left, she will put a stacking damage debuff on you.

It's to keep you from getting too far past story progression.

He's been playing for three days and has had the guide for one. He's seen me Do a quick run to Sector Y and is aware that there are alternate bosses and paths. I'll let him figure it out on his own. If he begs for info though, I'll absolutely cave.

im probably an idiot but im loving the skull weapon in hades 2. especially if i get the boon that auto-returns them so i can just chain gun everything to death

Aspect of Medea for the skull is the undisputed best aspect in the game, and the base aspect is absolutely a high tier option

yeah i think im running the base tier (the one where it’s more damage the less skulls you have on you)

although now that i think about it, maybe i can pair the auto-return boon with the boon that shoots them all at once in an arc and just have a sawed off shotgun build. hmm.

daggers (I have the most runs/wins with this for now)
skulls
spear (gearing the special)
axe
cloak (i don’t get it)
torches

I’ll probably like the axe more when i max the attack speed aspect, it’s just too slow as-is

Generally speaking, dagger and cloak have the most low tier aspects. But especially with the final/hidden aspects every weapon has any absolutely top tier option.
