not quite this same but this weekend i had to go to my parents house to help my dad replace the bulbs for his flood lights which are on the second floor of the house. i am relatively in shape but i was fucking terrified the whole time i was on the ladder that i was going to fall (my 70+ year old dad being the one holding the ladder was probably more the reason)

At 41 years old I learned how to do speed skaters during cardio camps and my initial thoughts were “fuck no those are gonna make my ACLs explode” but I started slow and found the rhythm and it’s all good now
