The other 2 Brosnan films were fine as dumb Bond films. Tomorrow Never Dies I think has actually gotten a bit better over time as digital manipulation of the media becomes more of a thing.

the one thing that has always bothered me though (yes i know bond has plot armor) is when goldfinger changes his mind and decides to not laser him through the dick and beyond

The intentionally cheesy/over the top nature of the franchise helps them from feeling as dated as other movies from a similar time period can have.
