The film waxes about Zeus' law and focuses on that being the breakdown of everything. My guy, none of that shit applies at war. The trojans aren't actually feeding you around a table while you're besieging their walls! None of that shit applies when people raise arms against you in your own house. It's a film that keeps telling us we should be good to others, but when it matters it goes "LMAO PSYCH!" Depth was removed for simplicity's sake, which I can understand, but was then replaced with cognitive dissonance (and redemption of some sort?), which I'm far less accepting of.

it seems unfair to compare it to doctor strangelove because those movies are very different

that being said strangelove is infinitely superior

actually my biggest gripe is not enough left-wingers are saying the movie is about the treatment of immigrants to make the right-wingers mad as shit
