It hasn't aged well, but TV has also gotten a lot better over the years. When it was airing, this was peak TV. I think of it in the later seasons as a reason why shows don't have so many episodes a season; they shoehorn 3min of season long arc plot into 42min of nonsense that's not interesting when it could just be a shorter season.

Speedsters or people that are speedster tier usually have immunity to their power that they can extend should they choose to, both consciously and subconsciously. The Flash controls how the speed force works. Even Superman who has no speed force does some telekinetic shenanigans when grabbing people at super speed (or lifting/moving objects at improbable vectors and angles)

I've stayed away from the whole Clancy nonsense cause white folks crazy but what I've seen from the spillage of my social media algorithm is that white women have an inability to accept responsibility if a man is involved. The ways that women's post partum physical and mental health could've become the topic but instead they're turning the husband into a super secret spy with all these super powers. The conspiracy theories are going wild. That lady even said she killed her kids.

So he hired her a nanny/maid, started working from home to help her and she was able to go see multiple physicians? That sounds super supportive if anything. The people are saying she was diagnosis shopping and wasn't getting the PPD she wanted. Anyways, everyone involved in the case, even Laura, acknowledges that she killed the kids.
