On one hand it depends on the kid, there are some that are "best not, it IS going to mess them up cause they're too sensitive" or "they're already a little shit, don't need to give them ideas."

My mom was a sci-fi fan, and I was basically raised watching Star Trek: The Next Generation every week on one hand, but Highlander: The Series on the other (where somebody gets their head chopped off nearly every episode.)
At age 6 in 1991, in theaters with her, I saw Terminator 2, Highlander 2, and Star Trek 6.
Death Becomes Her in '92. Demolition Man in '93. Ace Ventura, The Mask, Time Cop, Stargate, and True Lies in '94. Johnny Mnemonic and 12 Monkeys in '95. etc.
A Blockbuster was opened in walking distance when I was 9 and we got a membership, and then I started in on anime. Genesis Survivor Gaiarth, Tenchi Muyo, Battle Angel, Plastic Little, Devil Hunter Yohko, Crying Freeman, Project A-Ko, Outlanders, etc.

If you aren't coddling your kids, they're perfectly capable of handling Berserk, Evangelion, or Lain before they hit high school.

Breakfast - Allison's Country Cafe in Ventura

a bunch of eateries at the Collection Riverfront. Haven't been that way in forever so idk what's exactly there besides all the popular sit-down chains like Cheesecake Factory.

Oxnard is not a great culinary spot, but, Carnitas El Rey, Izakaya Jin, Pho Saigon would be my tops

Dlss 5 lives in a .dll, so all you need is that file to get a version of it. It's not nearly optimized, as the slow frame rates frequently show, and the games people show it with are mostly not compatible art direction wise, but it's real and it's out there for what it's worth.

I think it's great for games that clearly aim for realism, like sports and racing games. Everything else is just a fun curiousity.
