CapCut limitation partially, but of course there's user error there, as I am learning. It's gotten better. My first one is really really bad. There's no like guiding there so you have to move it all freehand frame by frame, and it doesn't have an option to blend/blur them together or anything like that.

The tracking tool is nice when it works, but finding an anchor is rough and the text often just goes flying off the screen. I've only successfully used it once. I'd rather get better at doing it the manual way just to learn and also so I don't have to rely on the anchor.

My husband keeps suggesting I bring my stuff over to instagram, but the stuff I make isn't exactly instagram-appealing. So the next step is to create longer videos.

I should mention there's a key frame option, but that's never worked for me. (text gets stuck once I make the initial frame, and it doesn't let me move it in another key frame.) In the past I looked at a ton of videos on it, but couldn't figure it out. Still an issue now.

I assumed that's a paid feature or something

Just fyi just about a week ago I was in a meeting with a student and a social worker. Student had been badly beaten by their father the day before.

Stuff like that has really worn me out over the years and I work hard to help so many kiddos.

Honestly, this has really really helped me get balance in my life.

I accidentally influenced once, and it was hella weird experience.

I had mentioned to a struggling restaurant in K-Town that BTS was coming. They asked me to come. So I did, and spoke to the owner and got like a free soup out of it, and did the whole posting and encouraging people to go. Owner was suuuuper sweet, but I felt like that Seinfeld episode about the Pakistani guy.

I am not nearly big enough to do any kind of meaningful effect. Threads is small potatoes. It did seem like she did get a boost that week, but I don't think much if at all was from me helping.

I am not that person. 0/10 do not recommend.

I don't think I'd do it again unless someone specifically asks for it. I will try to visit her restaurant again as I feel like I owe it to her for actually asking me. lol ;_;

ALSO ARCHI YOU HELPED ME SO MUCH.

So when you had mentioned the key frames yesterday, I went back to it thinking, "Oh yeah I remember trying to get that to work a few months ago." And I still had the same issue where if I added the starter keyframe to the text it would just lock the text in place no matter what I did. Adding/deleting frames didn't work. I had to delete the whole text.

Then I remembered, that when I was initially trying to get it to work I was only using the PC version and hadn't tried the phone app yet. So I went to the phone app AND IT FUCKING WORKS.

So I deleted it on my PC and reinstalled it...and it works. Only thing is I lost the projects inside the app (I still have the final versions), so if I am to redo anything I have to redo from scratch, but that is so worth it.
