Are you sure? I played XV when it was released, and I remember having that ring. It must have been a VERY early patch.

I still firmly believe they fell behind on production and rushed that shit out to meet deadlines.

it’s a shame because this part of the story (finding out more about the magitek/daemons) is interesting but the gameplay is so shitty i just don’t care

I still have hope one day we’d get a “complete version” of sorts which fixes a ton of the in-game issues, streamlines the episode DLC’s into the main story, and gives us access to the Niflheim continent populated with a ton of dope shit like a Diamond Weapon fight.

The entire continent is already in the game unused. You can literally out of bounds glitch and explore a land just as huge if not bigger than the initial continent you’re on.
