Technically that would be medical insurance, not dental iirc.
Agreed. Have your dentist call to contest. Have them call the insurance company to review the procedure over the phone and put something in writing/send any necessary x-rays, etc. Any dentist worth their salt will do it. Mine has done it for me on several occasions and saved me good money.
Dishwasher handle broke. Took a few hours to disassemble only to find the broken part isn't manufactured anymore. Going to have to rig up a fix or see if someone can 3d print me a part.
I swear it was made to break. Small plastic hooks holding together the whole assembly
I did. Ebay, Craigslist, manufacturer are all a bust. I came up with a fix (I work in a metal shop) that I think will work. Got a few small bolts(#6-32) and made low profile nuts out of some scrap brass. If my local appliance store doesn't have the real part I'll just try my fix
I'm never going to Supercuts again. Last time I was there they told me they didn't do appointments anymore. They even had a big sign on the door that said, "First come first served!" So I go in today and the woman there asked me if I checked in on the app. ^^; She was already cutting someone's hair and said there were several people ahead of me online and I would have to wait. They were the only person there btw. I decided to wait. She said 30 minutes. After she finished with the guy already there the next person was late for their appointment. Then the other two showed up and one was grumpy their haircut was late. Ended up waiting there over an hour.
That sign was still on the door.

First queued, first served? I think we need to change the term at least.
The real problem I have is that they have only ONE person working there. If they had a couple more like they are supposed to it wouldn't be an issue.

Turned 40 on the Monday (the 18th). On Saturday (16th), I hosted a murder mystery dinner party. Like 15 people, all dressed in 1800's western style clothing. Turned the first floor of my house into an old saloon. Anyway...
I had ordered a few last minute things for the party to be delivered Friday. Amazon didn't deliver Friday. On Saturday, I saw them at the neighbors at 6:30pm and my party was about to start. I took off running, in boots, down my driveway to get the package and get the props before everyone got in. That turned out to be a mistake.
I knew immediately my ACL was gone. I had never torn it before but it is a VERY distinct feeling. When I stood up and then collapsed a few minutes later, that confirmed it. Had the party anyway. Had to go to ER after the party because my foot was getting cold and I was concerned about vascular status. Vasculature was fine, but scan also showed a partial soleus tear. Had MRI today, see Ortho again Monday. Hoping for surgery Wednesday or Thursday.
Party went well though.
Spoiler: show
so if we just run nowadays we fall apart huh
My issue was that I ran in Boots. Which I'm pretty sure you don't want to do. I also wear these boots maybe once a year. It was a recipe for disaster.
Damn. >_< I'm sorry to hear that dude.

Ugh that sucks Ty
You should have adapted and been the murder victim so you could stay on the floor all night
Well BG, if we didn't see it before, we see it now. We're officially old lol.
Tyche, that sucks man, sorry to hear, really.
