Somehow I have misplaced the key to my 71" display cabinet I got in March.

Reached out to the vendor and they mailed me a new key (and a lock)

Unfortunately it's either a different lock or these despite being mass produced are not keyed alike.

Now I need to fucking teach myself how to pick the stupid thing. At least once I do, I already have a new lock and key.

If it looks like the who lock mechanism is easily replaceable, you could probably just grab a good drill bit and forego the picking process entirely unless the cabinet has elaborate locks for some reason.
