Hope your car actually requires 93 octane otherwise you're just pissing money away.
I'm just giving my anecdotes

I would lip out so hard... i would be on "When keeping it real, goes wrong"
Yeah no. I'm not trying to get shot. I just pulled out my keys and kept walking to my front door. I'm not going to get into it with an old white dude walking his dog in Suburbia, Virginia.
I remember when I was able to use my sick days for extra days off/vacations. Then I had a kid and now they all go to him being sick. I’ve burned through all my sick days for the year already. I’ve also maybe only slept 10 hours in the last 3 days and I still had to pay my daycare for all 5 days despite him only being there 6 hours on Monday. I feel like the daycare should be paying me, when all his illnesses he gets are from that germ factory.
Lol it gets really fun when you have more than one. Sickness rips through the house in waves. You feel like you are in a warzone and if you are lucky enough not to catch whatever is going around you become in charge of EVERYTHING. It hasn't been too bad with the pandemic because my mom watches after our two youngest. When our middle son went to preschool for a few months before Omicron he brought home every cold that went through that place. Got tested many times and none of it was COVID (at least according to the Dr's) but if it was going around we got it.
Luckily I work from home full time so that does help a bit not having to take sick time all time but yeah there is almost always a dr appointment or dentist appointment or parent teacher conference or school singing group concert or something going on. I eat up my sick time so fast. I end up using some vacation time as well to take care of the kids.
After getting violently sick to the point I had to go by ambulance to the ER a few weeks ago, I've barely had an appetite and no desire to eat or drink anything.
I'm maybe consuming most days 750 to 800 calories if that and that's me forcing myself. Also having a huge uptick in migraines , vertigo episodes x 2 this week when I have never had one in my life.
I've taken so many fucking covid tests , mostly PCR and a few antigen and all negative so I'm at a complete loss.
Even my doctor is confused.

My wife had something like that when she got some new meds and was having a slow allergic reaction to them. She wouldn't eat, had migraines, and after about a week started to break out over her body (This started slowly, by day 8 she was red all over). It was so gradual, we didn't connect the dots until the rash came.

Was on vacation last week so I turned off my work alarm. Forgot to reset it so it didn't go off and now I'm getting a write up for attendance. Uggghhhh
Should have just told them you were still hungover because of all the drinking.

If you can afford to miss a day of work sometimes it’s better to just call out instead of being late
My work policy is you have to call an hour before your starting shift otherwise it's considered "not following proper call out procedure". I work at 345am and woke up at 430am. We aren't even open till 7am so it makes it extra stupid lol no leadership is there till 6am so I called at that time and he said it'd be a write-up but I'm gunna see if my manager will work with me on it
we have a convoluted ass attendance point system too. I've worked here since 2013 and I still barely understand it but I'll try and explain.
so a mispunch is 1 point
calling out on time is 4 points
and a no call no show is a write-up or if you're over 16mins late it's an automatic write-up
Then there's three brackets for how long the points stay on your record till they drop off. Ya got weekly, 30 days and then l think 60 days categories. If you get 10 points a week, that's a write-up and then you go back down to zero. I think 15 is for 30 days and then like 20 or 25 points for the 60 day one. So you get 7 points in a week and then you don't have any issues. So then a week goes by and it resets for your WEEKLY and you're at zero but in your 30/60 day bracket you're still at 7. I *THINK* this is how it works
I wanna know how your boss handles DKP.
