I'm letting Astylla borrow my car for a drive to Anaheim as it's more comfortable for her, and has more passenger leg room, so I'm stuck with her Civic. That car refuses to pair with my cell phone. I suspect it's got too many devices connected to it, and I can't figure out how to remove our old phones, so was stuck with FM Radio for the ride.

As an update to this: I'm in the hospital and have once again tested positive for COVID. FML.

As an update to this update, I was finally released from the hospital this week after being in for exactly a month. Now to work on rehabbing my leg strength and cardio.

Damn I got got. Was looking through my card's history. 34 unahtorized lyft rides in the last 10 weeks. Dispute process is by mail only, so I'm pretty sure this is gonna be a slow process; also they canceled my card/sent me a new one, so I won't have access to any of my money for a little over a week.

Depending on your bank they might be able to give you a temp card or starter checks, or you could make a withdrawal and buy one of those prepaid visa or Mastercards if you don’t want to carry cash.

It's my plasma card. They don't have a physical bank anywhere in my city at least. It's just the card the plasma spot pays you on and when you donate, the money gets direct deposited straight to the card

Cream; My suggestion on that. NEVER use that plasma card directly for lyft or ANYWHERE online, yoink that crap off. What I do when I donate plasma; I wait until it gets to a certain level, then go to a Publix that has a free ATM, then withdraw the money. I then put it in my credit union.

If you need a credit union, use this. They usually have a LOT better deals than the banks and free checking/debit card. Also ask your plasma center about free atms so you can yoink the money off and put it in the credit union. Won't say what the one I use is but then it's prolly not in Florida; you want one that just requires ya to prove you are a resident in that state/area, and you should be fine.

Of course with any atm, make sure you yank on the slot and make sure you never use one in a shady location, yadda yadda yadda. Just a general saftey tip to protect yourself from skimmers for everybody. Most donks that use skimmers use ones that attach their crap with weak tape so if you give the slot a good tug, the trick'll be revealed and you will then know not to use that.

and here november arriveith my force sobriety and my 7 days a week cardio for the rest of the year. Gonna be a long boring 2 months lol. I won't purchase alcohol for the remainder of the year burt i'll prob drink on thanksgiving since i know it gonna be offered but in terms of buying; yeah done (can't afford it anyway savings drying up job hunt not going well and plasma breaks even w/ my rent, so i won't be making literally any purchase for the remainder of the year)

I don't get that far. I don't make it to the interview, lol; and yes I live in florida and ride a bicycle. I have to shower 3-4 times a day. If i went to walmart right now (2 miles away) by the time I got home, I'd need another shower from all the sweat I had just produced. granted I've only worked in food/retail (and one grocery store), I've never had an interview and then didn't get the job lol.

This lettuce shortage is making me sad. First Costco had only the large leafy romaine lettuce heads and not the smaller crunchy heads.

Then Wendys last week said they ran out of lettuce.

Now this tostada salad from El Polo Loco has this bad proportion of lettuce to rice that it is more or less a rice bowl with lettuce and not a salad.

I enjoy a big lettuce leaf on like a spicy chicken sandwich, helps to cut the heat a little. But fuck shredded lettuce. Fuck it so much.
