I legit forgot about Big Sexy for a moment. Scheff said last night that Julio requested a trade months ago, and the Falcons gave his team permission to go and find a trade. He will go where he decides, but I agree it won't be a NFC South team and they would highly prefer an AFC team.

once they get down to the final 53 they'll be fine cap wise just like everyone else. does it really matter if you're over the cap with 90 players? i dont think it does

They are going to trade him. They will essentially be at cap with 53 players. They will need SOME money to work with throughout the season.

There is also no way they bring in a new GM, new head coach, and immediately force them both to deal with the franchise's most beloved player not wanting to be there. I mean they could, but that would just be setting them up for failure.
