Not taking away the women accusing him, but I'd be pissed off if the attorney I hired kept advertising all this shit on Instagram/Facebook before the courts. Comes off as sleazy and trying to score a quick payday by getting hush money prior to filing the lawsuit.

on one hand his tactics have gotten people to talk about the case which will help him in the long run. on the other hand some of his tactics are so goofy he's gotten some people to flat out not trust him so they believe deshaun is innocent despite the amount of allegations against him

a lawyer putting up a bunch of text messages on his social media that he intends to use in court almost feels illegal

i'm sure it isn't illegal otherwise we'd be talking about a different court case atm lol... but as melena said it comes off as sleazy. if you're that confident in your ability to win the cases you wouldn't feel the need to do something like that

And Honestly, if the Texans have any sense, they'll be helping Watson. If he's found guilty, his stock is going to plummet, and to go along with a suspension, they are going to lose a ton, and if they decide to trade him after, won't get nearly as much.

i doubt the cases get figured out until a couple years from now. the biggest issue is if watson gets put on the commissioner exemption list until the cases get figured out, which could take him out of football for 1-2 years like antonio brown. teams not touching him until the league decides how they want handle the situation and the league waiting until things get figured out in court

watson is almost undoubtedly stuck on the texans atm and the texans could be without a qb even with watson still on the roster... at this point i'm not sure which is a worse scenario; being forced to trade your franchise qb that is allowed to play or being forced to keep your franchise qb that isn't allowed to play

12th lawsuit now filed. One filed today claims the assault took place in March 2021. Watson's camp was made aware of these accusers in early February. If this shit is true, the man is extremely brazen lol.
