fields had a good pro day today and ran a 4.44

fastest 40 for a qb since 2006, only rg3 faster (lamar 4.3 unofficial, not sure what today is considered)

it’ll be interesting if it goes qb 1-4 just to see if someone trades up for whoever is left. bengals and dolphins don’t really need one at 5/6 (if the dolphins weren’t sold on tua for now they prolly stay at 3?), lions might want a goff replacement at 7, panthers will draft one at 8

broncos and bears being the two teams you keep hearing about possibly trading up. maybe the pats too but haven’t heard much there

Yeah theoretically the Falcons should be in a prime position to trade down for a haul, assuming Lawrence-Wilson-Fields/Lance go in the top 3, leaving one of them sitting at 4. Also assuming that most teams see a drop off between those 4 and Mac Jones

If Fields or Wilson are there, I'd take them. Fine with taking Lance or trading down for multiple future firsts otherwise

I just feel like we'll have to spend a bunch of picks to trade up in 1-2 years to take a blue chip QB anyway, so why not do it now
