yeah i don’t buy it either. he said the reason the jets declined was because they weren’t sure of Wilson’s arm strength and might have wanted to wait to trade...but they could have just picked a different qb. or another player. or they could have accepted the trade and picked a qb at 12. but in any scenario, the jets take the trade

looking at the chart again #12 & 23 is enough fire power to move up and trade with atlanta at #4... imagine the jets drafting fields at 2 and sewell at 4. you'd have a 230 pound qb that runs a 4.4 with two tackles that have a combined weight of 700 pounds... you could create another ravens offense lol

so now that lance's 2nd pro day is done, i dunno if you can glean anything from who attended who's pro days but these are the teams that had their gm and/or hc see wilson, fields, big sexy, and lance throw foosballs (either on their first or second pro day):

Wilson: NYJ, SF, ATL, DET, CAR, DEN, NE, MIN, LVR (notably missing: JAX)
Fields: NYJ, SF, ATL, DET, CAR, DEN, CHI (notably missing: NE & WAS)
Big Sexy: SF, CAR, NE, CHI, NO (notably missing: DEN & WAS)
Lance: SF, ATL, CAR, DEN, NE (notably missing: CHI & WAS)

just to make it clear, pretty much every team had someone present at these pro days but this is just a list of the gms and/or hcs that attended, assuming that matters at all. just an interesting bit of data. at the bare minimum i think you can assume washington has no interest in a qb this year (which is weird), unless riverboat ron is just lazy. also belichick is potentially out on fields, broncos are potentially out on mccorkle, and bears are potentially out on lance.
