idk what to feel. TE in top 5 just feels like a poor value proposition, but I haven't seen him play much so maybe he is Calvin Johnson. I D K

Pitts made every opponent in the SEC look like he was playing against highschool kids. Whether is translates to the NFL probably depends on his work ethic and interest/ability in learning the offense. His body won't hold him back from a damn thing.

horn followed pitts almost their entire game and pitts won almost every play. horn is the best press man corner in the draft

i agree that paying a TE the 6th highest TE salary the moment he walks into the league is a scary prospect but this guy may actually be megatron. if that hits it'll be worth it

i was the guy that said don't draft a TE in the top 10 but watching highlights against surtain and horn i'm not sure this guy is a TE. even gronk didn't completely embarrass cornerbacks. safeties and linebackers, sure. but not the best corners

from the get go he's said he believes both fields and lance are day 2 guys. i was more surprised he had lance going in the top 10 based on what he's said about his abilities

Honestly, at least 1 probably should be a day 2 guy. Maybe even both, but he cannot really believe they would actually go on day 2....

There is no chance Fields drops to 32nd. The QB is by far the most important position in all of sports and too many teams are always looking to improve that position. If one of them was to fall that far, it would be Lance anyway.

it depends on how you do mock drafts. there's a big difference between doing one where you pick based on where think the player will go and if you were the gm who you'd pick

but yes, fields will without question not get past washington and chicago... he probably shouldn't get past denver, 'cause they have absolutely no stake in drew lock atm, but who knows

at the very least if fields starts to fall someone will trade up for him

lance is the one i could see slipping more due to less play time, but he still probably gets drafted in round 1 with someone trading up for him at the very least

i still think you might see someone trade back into round 1 for mond

I'm not getting why 49er fans are so upset at the possibility of Mac. One bad Pro Day, where he was likely a nervous wreck, isn't the end of dude. His beer gut might be though. He will probably end up being a really good QB, if drafted by a good team.

i think the issue is trading up, getting 9ers fans excited, but then to draft a guy who might have been there at 12 anyway

before all this 9ers talk there were a lot of people who thought jones might be there for the bears or washington at the end of the teens

if you say “he was never going to get past x pick” sure, now he won’t, but that certainly wasn’t the talk before the 9ers traded up, and likely may have still been the case after his pro day

What in the hell is so great about trading up for Fields or a guy who has hardly played and played against total shit then?

I'd rather toss a 2nd to Green Bay for Love than trade all of that shit for Lance or an Ohio State QB.
