That Chris Simms video makes me sleep better at night, but fuck. He does have one of the craziest stat lines I've ever seen in my life: College QBs would have had a higher QBR spiking the ball on every single play than they did passing against Caleb Farley.
best first rounds: lions, chargers, pats, colts, vikings, and ravens
vikings are #1 imo 'cause they traded back and still probably got the guy they wanted
I think the Lions came out at the top. They sat back and got a player that at least 2 teams royally fucked up not taking. Ravens aren't winners at all imo. They took fucking Bateman over Moore and essentially traded a strong tackle for an "upside" DE in a weak DE draft.

This mofo about to pull a Palmer or he is going to show up weekly and not communicate with a SINGLE coach/front office employee lmao.
Meanwhile, no one even knows what Jordan Love even looks like.
and they can still possibly add someone like asante jr. at the top of the next round, or that ND linebacker that slipped for some reason
I think you both should be ashamed of yourselves and just admit to sucking each other off.
deep in the recesses of your brain a tiny red-hot little flame began to grow
He had concussions (2) and a broken wrist from riding a fucking moped. I don't know of any back injuries with the dude. He certainly didn't have back surgery like some other first round pick from a team residing in Tennessee. He was a stud at miami. I, unfortunately, watched a lot of acc football. I'm not worried about this kid in the least. He wrecked everyone at miami after those injuries.
Much less concerned about Philips than I am Waddle. I think Waddle will be really good, but Miami already has two deep ball threats. They gonna run hail marys every play with Tua throwing?
Miami had the easiest layup ever with Sewell and blew it, that’s the only part of the Waddle pick I hate. Tua is going to need a guy that can catch a slant or screen and take it 20+. Phillips was so oft injured that he literally “retired” from ball after his third (3) diagnosed concussion.
Hopefully the guy doesn’t see his fourth too quickly, but it’s unfortunately very likely. He was #1 on our list of PLZ DONT FKN TAKE.
It wasn't because he was so often injured, it was due to ucla school protocols. He didn't retire, ucla retired him, after his 3rd concussion (2nd on-field concussion) per school protocol. His first concussion was when he was 10 years old. After ucla sat him, he went to Miami and balled out.
Farley has had as many back surgeries in college as philips has had concussions lol.
I’ve made it clear I don’t like either pick lmao. You can keep up better than this.
On the bright side, Can't be worse than last year's 1st round pick
The man didn’t work out for either team or the rap game (see his new album). The Titans at least rolled the dice on a guy who is likely the best at his position to a lot. I’m not even sure Phillips is a better prospect than Rousseau from his own college team, at DE. And neither would be first round DE’s in an average NFL draft.
