It isn't shocking that people prefer the first round picks+Mac since the QBs have similar grades, with the benefit of hindsight knowing that Mac would've fallen to them

i mean, that would equate to one or two votes out of the thousands that clicked

also you can easily see a world where lance would have fallen to 12 without ever having to move up at all considering fields went at 11. we'll never know now but would you be shocked at all that if the niners took big sexy instead, lance would have been the qb that fell to the pats in the exact same way. i wouldn't be.

the qbs weren't as highly sought after as we all thought

It’s not remotely close just putting them on paper:

    1. Two first round picks + QB who played at the highest possible collegiate level with insanely high success

    OR

    2. QB who hasn’t played much at all, not in awhile, and against very weak competition

It’s a coin flip whether most of these guys work out anyway, so give me the picks all day with 0 hesitation. This isn’t close. It’s not like either of these guys are in the same stratosphere as an Andrew Luck or Manning level prospect.

And Andrew Luck wasn't even the best QB in his draft class

got a 1st for orlando brown, who didn't want to be there and wanted a boat load of cash. signed a guy in free agency that's about the same skill level and undoubtedly going to be cheaper

maybe the player union should've told it's people the consequences instead of the silly boycott

Teams have just been reaching out directly to Aaron Rodgers, skipping over the Packers front office. They aren't happy.

I remember hearing that the entire situation literally comes down to Rodgers wanting the GM gone since he's seems to be doing ok with the players and coaches.

If that's true I can't see how that's a complicated decision at all. A GM who has been making a bunch of dumbass decisions vs the reigning MVP can't take more then a second of thought

Read somewhere the breaking point was when they released some dude named Kumerow from the practice squad without giving Rodgers a heads up a day after Rodgers had praised him publicly.

well the team doesn't have a real owner so there's less people to bitch to compared to other organizations. their gm is one of the highest positions in the organization. he can go to the ceo but the ceo probably doesn't give a fuck about football operations
