I fought a cop in finals of a city wide 18+ karate tournament. I lost due points taken away for illegal strikes. LOL It's the only trophy I have because the dojo kept my first place trophies from previous tournaments

I went to the tournament with my girlfriend and to video tape my little brother. My old sensei saw me and asked to fight in the black belt tournament. I hadn't fought or trained in almost a year. I told him I'd probably lose. He was like "we are short a person due to illness, I have everything you need, just get in there and fight." I looked at my girlfriend and smiled and said BRB LOL. She video taped me getting to the finals.
