Personally, both from my own background being adopted and general feelings on the issue, I would not advocate for it on the individual level unless medically necessary for my hypothetical partner, and while I acknowledge it is ultimately her choice I do find it sits poorly with me and could potentially affect the relationship (hard to know since it's all speculative on my part). I also recognize on a broader societal scale it is absolutely necessary and should be written into law. This may be hypocritical in some ways but it's my current stance.

No, the electric panel that the power feed going to your house attaches to. Most older homes have 80 or 100 amp panels but often need to upgrade to a 200 amp panel for central AC and other various home electrification projects.
