im not a huge fan, i like current destiny than some of his previous arcs, hes definitely a lefty but certaintly not a commie, interesting guy, holds his own in debates, i dont know about the current drama but "guy swatting trans person" doesnt really sound like a very accurate description of the guy

i have no idea who this person is

I only know him because he was streaming StarCraft II when the esports scene for it was active. I don't follow generic Twitch streamers at all.

Like I know I'm in the minority on this, even though I don't understand how, but I don't watch streams for personalities to entertain me. I watch the streams of the best or most educational pro players and I watch tournament streams. That's it.

I don't know if I'd call him liberal by any stretch of the imagination. I don't even know what I'd call him outside of reactionary.

It shouldn't surprise you that I am on board with his explanation of language. I've said multiple times before I will never infract a user for language itself, I infract on how that language is used. This fundamentally why I refused to cave into hey's demands that "trangenderED" be considered an offensive term just because she felt it was offensive.

And I can at least respect the idea that we should be committed to equal opportunity out of a utilitarian mindset. I think people should also reject injustice and inequality on face, but we've seen people are often only motivated by what's in it for them so the idea that there are better outcomes in a world that rewards merit neutrally is a useful argument to deploy.

I don't think I've ever watched a single live stream in my life outside of addresses from POTUS, NASA, or some some other major announcement like E3 pressers (RIP). I've also never heard of any of these people.
