I don't remember what the deciding factor was. I just know that they chose to end it after the time change in spring next year. That varies by region anyway. Fall back makes it dark so fucking early over here, do not want.

It isn't over until this Congress breaks in December. It will likely be reintroduced. But some GOP senators may not pass it again through unanimous consent like it did in May 2022.

Though it's likely dead. The CR to fund the government expires December 16th so you know after mid-terms the GOP is going to stonewall on funding the government.

I said something to the effect of "just wait" after everyone was saying the Dems can take advantage of the Abortion ruling and stuff to change the script of how they were about to get crushed. When all the 538 flipping Dem was being posted.

People are fickle, and the economy concerns them more than most of the Democratic platform. The Dems will probably mitigate the damage, but it was never goin to be easy.

It's none of that and literally the economy, and while the Biden administration is scoring policy wins they've effectively done nothing as a party to change the real driving motivation of voters: money.

Which is a fucking shame because everything will infinitely get worse if they don't win.
