Well of course they dont want it, thats yet another day they have to pay their workers to NOT work.

LOL, that was a weird feeling. Seeing the government do something and directly impacted me in an hour. I saw the report that Biden signed the bill, and within an hour i get an e-mail saying to take today off.

Meanwhile in the House, Nancy Pelosi has announced that they will launch their own investigation into January 6th.
I just don't get why you would vote against something like that.

I think Joey might be mad that none of his friends came out to play.
He's like a brand new baby every time, thinking that compromise is possible, that his Republican colleagues won't obstruct by any means necessary
but I don't give a shit as long as he ends up in the right place - and hopefully he is setting the rightward edge in the party and Sinema or Warner or any of the other shithead centrists won't try to outflank him.
Here's my worry. He's none of those things. He uses them as his alibi and actually doesn't give enough of a shit to pass any of this. I am not convinced he will end up in the right place.
I mean I'll be happy if you're right but I am not expecting it.
