I agree with you that this will clinch the race for him if trump doesn’t attack him. I’m wondering what the chances of trump attacking him are. His statement was pretty well worded to not outright trash trump while still disagreeing but who knows how that will play out.

I think it depends if someone tells Trump that it was an insult. Like Trump didn't get mad about Mattis until someone explained to him that Mattis was being insulting in his resignation. Trump will make it a big deal if it enters his radar.

In regards to the first tweet, I went to high school in Oakland in the earl-mid 90's and I remember a talent agency coming to the school scouting people. Pretty weird now that I think about it.
