That wasn't even a take worthy of an ad hominem response though.

Literally almost any scenario where somebody's guns are stolen is negligence on the part of the owner.

There are like two I can think of that aren't:

1) They somehow jump you and take it off your person by force
2) They break into your house and break into your gun safe somehow - because as I said, unless they're doing a home invasion and shooting you first, you shouldn't be leaving guns unattended at home.

With me, we don't have any guns anymore b/c of one brother who has had major depression + has been suicidal. His shrink recommended that we get rid of the guns years ago; my littlest brother handled that. And as some here know, I won't buy one, tho I'm planning on getting another can of mace..things get scary over here sometimes and a girl has to be able to defend and run sometimes.

Also last year at Southern Fried Gaming Expo there were donks that were breaking into cars..FOR GUNS. I mean, they passed up some expensive retro games, and were going for cars with veteran stickers. Which might have guns. Made some folks mad. As for me, I'm making sure my pills aren't obvious (I wouldn't be surprised they look for drugs too tho I don't have anything 'fun'; I mean high blood pressure, supplements and thyroid are not fun drugs so I understand) since I'm staying at the hotel this year b/c I'm meeting a oooooooold online friend at the con.

There is no above board use for a suppressor that can't be achieved by something else. The only reason you would actually need one is if you want to murder someone and want to reduce the area that the shot can be heard in.

As for me, I got a blue and yellow pill case that looks kinda like a glasses case for a folding pair of sunglasses at a glance; I mean to buy some stickers for it at Momocon. The idea is simply "I don't think those kids are going to go for anything that doesn't scream, pill case or is a pill bottle" in case they're breaking into hotel rooms too.
